German Grocery - Shipping Policy

German Grocery ships with the United Parcel Service (UPS) and the United States Postal Service (USPS). We are able to ship internationally, however additional shipping costs will apply. Though this happens rarely, we reserve the right to adjust shipping costs accordingly.

Orders to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, A.P.O's and P.O. Boxes are shipped via the USPS. If you require USPS, please call us at 800-262-2253.

To use this map, simply find your "Ship To" state, and match its color with the "Transit Days". Please note, this is an estimate, and therefore not guaranteed. Remember, weekends do not count towards transit days.

Perishable and Heat-Sensitive Products Notice

During warm-weather months, select "next day shipping" for all perishable products or heat sensitive items, these items will be noted with an *asterisk*. Perishables will be shipped with ice packs to assure freshness and guarantee your satisfaction. The shipping cut-off day is Wednesday afternoon. We do not ship out these products on Thursady through Sunday, because they may perish in the UPS warehouses. All orders received after Wednesday evening will be sent out until the following Monday.

Shipping Notice

Most orders will be sent out Monday through Friday, and UPS only delivers on weekdays. Only on special request, UPS will deliver on weekends, if available in your area. Additional charges will apply.

We would also like to inform our customers that UPS shipping rates have increased dramatically. We were therefore forced to increase our shipping rates.

International Customers

We are able to ship internationally only via USPS, however additional shipping costs will apply. USPS does not provide international tracking of our shippments. The online shipping calculator is an estimate only. We will not be responsible for customs, and any items they confiscate.

We can not send perishables and heat sensitive items to international destinations unless we evaluate weather conditions. You may contact our sales staff at 800-262-2253 and we will assist you in evaluating the most appropriate method of shipment.
