Ingredients

2 tsp cinnamon
-
2 tsp powdered cloves
-
1 tsp double acting
baking powder
-
4 eggs
-
2 cups sugar
-
3 tbsp chopped candied
fruit

2 cans 5 oz blanched
almonds
-
5 cups flour sifted

Directions
Cream sugar and eggs. Add
flour with the spices then almonds and candied fruit. Bake in 10x13 inch
greased pan. Bake 40 min at 300 deg. Cool in pan 35 min. When cool cut
into squares
To make icing: Powder sugar with lemon juice and water). Spread icing on
each square mix.
